I LOVE this hammock, hands down best one for the price. Way more comfortable than sleeping on the ground in a tent, I'm a side sleeper and sleep just as well in this hammock than on my bed at home. It feels like i'm sleeping on a cloud, a cloud thats also gently rocking me to sleep! I camp in this through all the seasons. In winter I add a sleeping pad and a down sleeping bag to keep from getting cold. Works great! It's light enough that I take it backpacking as well as car camping. Also I couldn't ask for better customer service! In my opinion no other hammock tent comes close for this price.
The quality of this hammock is amazing! The materials used feel strong and quality, along with the hanging system as well. Plenty of room inside it for a comfortable night's sleep and when I use a mat in the pocket it really takes the edge off the cold on your back. Getting it in the carrying sack took a bit of effort, but as long as you roll it correctly and tight it shouldn't be too much of an issue
I got this hammock at the end of last year and was a little skeptical. It seemed to promise a lot. Well it is true to its word and it is the most comfortable hammock I have used. I took my mom and dad snow camping and thought I'd put it through its paces. It worked wonderfully! I slept like a baby. Hawk Nest, keep up the good work. Oh, and it was -20C in the night.

I am a newbie to the hammock camping world and so I did some sleuthing on the ol’ interweb and ended up springing for the Hawk Nest Hammock. The build quality is top notch and the attention to detail is awesome. My first outing ended up being my dry run for set up and I feel like setup went surprisingly well. The setup is user friendly and the integrated design makes it relatively quick to setup (quicker the more I set it up). Did receive rain during the hike trip so the rain fly was tested and preformed admirably. It was on the colder side (early November) and I ended up using a sleeping pad in the pocket to conserve heat loss off the back side and it worked great; however, if planning on doing any major cold weather hammock camping, a solid cold weather sleeping bag is a must.
All and all, Hawk Nest makes one heck of a product and I would definitely recommend!
So fun sleeping in the Hawk Nest Hammock and so easy to set up. Which is why I bought this one for a gift. Couldn't think of a nicer gift for a camper. Or someone's backyard for that matter as we are in a buggy area
