The design of the Hawk Nest Hammock is fantastic. The wide opening allows for easy in and out while the curved poles ensures lots of space even during wind and rain. The company stands behind their product 100%. Excellent customer service. Can't wait to see what they offer next.

I suspended a small cargo net, meant for car backseat, using the poles, so I could store light objects like the carry bag, or my shoes.

I'm 56, 200lbs, I had no issues getting in or out. I think it will be comfortable to sleep in, although I'm a side sleeper, it's not too confining when using a good ground mattress in the built-in pocket.

I’ve bought 2 of these hammocks from Hawk Nest. I’ve used them in warm, cold; calm, windy; dry, wet weather and I’m always comfortable in them. The hammocks in V.2 as well as stronger materials, were upgraded to a larger sleeping pad pocket which is now so larger I think you could put a quilt in it! I also love how light and compact this thing is.
Very comfortable and didn’t wake up hurting.

I just recently got out to use the Hawk's nest on Galiano Island in BC, and it was awesome! It rained all night but neither me nor my friend had any moisture inside, the setup was easy and only took about 5-10 minutes for a first setup, and the next morning everything was clean and dry despite the ground being wet and muddy. I do recommend a wider pad as my standard width pad didn't stay centred in the pad pocket, but I think I can remedy that with a small modification using some velcro patches. Overall I strongly recommend it, and it's great value.

I took a chance ordering this hammock tent off an ad on Instagram (which I never do) and from my very first set up I was convinced that this is tent was going to be a game changer for solo camping. I spent the summer camping in Northern Ontario and when you are constantly on the go, the FAST and EASY set up made adventuring a breeze! I've spent many nights in this tent in the pouring rain and remained dry and comfortable! I really can't stress how awesome this tent is and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves camping and being on the go.

Got the V2 and took this bad boy down during my road trip in the US. Not only did I have the comfiest sleep in my life while out camping, but I got so many compliments as well. Took this baby in the rainy PNW all the way down to Arizona's Grand Canyon. And honestly, after hiking a killer 15km in the Canyon on day one, this hammock felt like heaven!

It's light, waterproof, versatile, and very easy to setup and take down. Very happy with this gear 😀

I bought this to primarily use in my backyard for napping, and so far it has met all my expectations!

Set Up: Pretty simple and relatively quick. It took be a bit of time to get the rain tarp nice and taut, but that was more me being scared of ripping the fabric than any design flaw

Comfort: Super comfortable, spacious, and I don't feel like I'll tip over. I use a mummy sleeping bag (when it's below 15c) and small neck pillow usually, but I've been able to nap without the pillow as well.

Design: The rain tarp on one end doesn't have any sure-fire way of fastening it, although it's been mentioned by others and I'm going to take the owner's word that he's working on a better design (which is why I've put the review to 5 stars and not 4). Other than this, no bugs have gotten in, no rain (except when the rain tarp wasn't taut enough, which - again - was on me) and it blocks out enough of the sun I don't feel like I'm going to burn when there's not enough shade.
